Professional Career: I have spent over 40 years in education. I began my career in Lawrence, MA, as a Health and Science teacher for 16 years, and then as an administrator for Science, Technology, and Engineering.  I joined the Manchester School District, specifically the Manchester School of Technology, in 2005 and served as the high school principal until 2021.

Apprentice Program experience – from 2005 – 2015: I directed the Manchester Adult Education program while also being the MST high school principal.  After I retired as the MST Principal in 2021, I took on the transitioning apprentice program.  We renamed it the “Manchester Apprentice Program” and restructured it to make it more accessible to our students and their employers.

I have always gravitated toward jobs that let me work with various groups of people. I am a multitasker who enjoys keeping everything organized. I have most recently worked in multiple office manager-type roles. Some of the businesses I have worked in include Bridal, Kitchen and Bath Design, and Photography.  Prior to that, I graduated from St. Anselm College with a degree in Business/Accounting.

Full-time position: Electrical Technology Instructor at Manchester School of Technology for the previous two years. Before transitioning into education, I worked in the electrical field for approximately 11 years.

I am licensed in New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, and Colorado. I hold a Master Electrician license in New Hampshire and Journeyman licenses in the other three states.

I owned and operated my own electrical business for four years, specializing primarily in solar installations and residential electrical projects. Prior to running my own business, I worked for electrical companies in both the commercial and residential sectors, gaining experience across multiple areas of the trade.

  My background provides a well-rounded perspective on the electrical trade, allowing me to bring real-world experience from multiple areas of the industry into the classroom.  

I’m passionate about the electrical trade and take pride in helping develop the next generation of electricians. Teaching allows me to share real-world knowledge and experience while helping students build the skills they need for successful careers in the industry.

I am a plumbing apprenticeship instructor. I have been with the program for 25 years
I’ve also practiced Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning for over 35 years and run my own business in the Greater Manchester area.
I have greatly enjoyed supporting aspiring professionals as they progress from apprentices to journeyman plumbers, master plumbers, and gas fitters. The plumbing and mechanical trades offer an excellent pathway for individuals who are hands-on learners and thrive in environments that engage both practical skills and critical thinking. In my experience, a plumbing apprenticeship is a continuous learning journey in which employers and instructors provide guidance and mentorship, helping apprentices build a promising future and reach their full potential.
